MCC NOW - TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to MCC Multiservices Ltd, introducing MCC NOW, our exclusive membership program designed to provide you with hassle-free home maintenance and repair services throughout the year.

MCC NOW membership offers a variety of services, including repairs, installations, general maintenance, and outdoor tasks, all covered by a 6-hour annual labour allowance. Details on these services can be found in Section 2.0 (Covered Services), which includes furniture repairs, small crack fixes, and appliance setup, among others. It's important to note that materials are not included, and only the address registered with us is eligible for service, as detailed in Section 1.0. Certain exclusions such as complex electrical and plumbing tasks, as well as emergency services, are specified in Section 3.0.

Membership conditions are clearly laid out, with an annual fee of £475 or £39.99/month for labour coverage. There are limits on consecutive hours used per job, and initial hours are restricted within the first two months (Section 4.0). Our cancellation and refund policy is outlined in Section 5.0, ensuring transparency. All services are insured as mentioned in Section 6.0. Below are the terms and conditions applicable to the MCC NOW membership. By subscribing, you agree to comply with these terms. We recommend reading this document carefully before you sign up.




  1. Membership Description

 

MCC NOW membership offers a total of 6 hours of labour per year.

 

  • Note: Materials are NOT included in any of the services. The coverage applies exclusively to labour on the address registered on your profile at the time of signing up.

2.1. Repair and Replacement Services

 

Services

Description

Furniture Repair

Repair of chairs, tables, and shelves. Only includes repairs with parts recommended by the manufacturer or simple screws.

Small Crack Repair

Repair of cracks up to 1 meter long and 2 mm thick in walls or ceilings (lofts excluded).

Replacement of handles or hinges

Excludes locksmith works e.g. locked locks.

Installation or Replacement of Curtains

Replacement of curtains using existing fixings is included. If new fixings are required, the job will be completed, but filling and repair of previous fixings will be treated as a separate service.



2.2. Installation Tasks

 

(Excludes furniture that requires more than two people for assembly or that weighs more than 15 kg)

  • Furniture Assembly (IKEA and other brands)
  • Installation of shelves, paintings, and mirrors
  • Wall mounting of televisions
  • Installation of curtains, blinds, or shades
  • Installation of lamps, ceiling fans, and lighting accessories (No wiring/cabling changes are included in these services.)



2.3. General Maintenance

 

Services

Description

Painting of small areas

Touch-ups in areas up to 10m². Does not include repairs for severe water damage or severe humidity.

Sealant application

Silicone sealant application in bathrooms and kitchens.

Drain cleaning and maintenance

Manual unclogging indoors (excludes outdoors and manholes) up to 5 meters.

Lubrication and adjustment of doors and windows

Improvement of functionality and noise reduction.

Replacement of light bulbs and small appliances

Replacement of light bulbs, sockets, or small appliances (microwaves, electric stoves, hoods, washing machines, and dishwashers), excludes installation of gas stoves, boilers, and radiators.




2.4. Outdoor Services

 

  • Replacement of fences (only modules, without excavations or structural alterations)
  • Manual cleaning of patios and terraces (excludes pressure washing)
  • Assembly of garden furniture (excludes items over 15 kg or those requiring more than two people).




2.5. Cleaning and Maintenance Services

Description

General Cleaning

Routine cleaning of indoor areas, including light dusting, wiping down surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness in rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. (Excludes deep cleaning or carpet cleaning.)

Window Cleaning

Cleaning of both the interior and exterior windows, including frames and sills, to maintain clear visibility and a tidy appearance. (Excludes exterior window cleaning at more than 3 metres height)

 

2.6. Special Tasks (subject to professional availability)

 

  • Minor plumbing repairs: changing faucets, fixing tap leaks, replacing traps (excludes pipe breaks).
  • Minor electrical repairs: changing sockets, switches, or installing power strips.
  • Basic appliance setup: connecting washing machines, dryers, or dishwashers.
  • Gas Engineer: Boiler repairs and General Fault localisations.

 

2.7. Bonus Services: Additional Services Available. 

 

NOTE: ONLY users with full unused hours will be eligible for the services below at no extra cost at the end of their first year of membership. 



Services

Description

End of Tenancy 

Comprehensive cleaning service designed for tenants moving out, covering all areas of the property, including deep cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces.

Boiler Service 

This service includes checking for leaks, testing pressure levels, cleaning components, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. (Annual boiler check)



  1. Services Not Covered

 

  • Complex electrical or plumbing work that requires specific licenses.
  • Major renovations or complete remodels.
  • Central heating or gas installations.
  • Construction of large structures.
  • Emergency Services out working hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).



  1. Membership Conditions

 

  • Price: 475 GBP/Annually or 39.99 GBP/month (Only labour, We do NOT include materials).
  • Coverage: 6 hours annually.
  • Maximum of 3 consecutive labour hours can be used per job.
  • First 2 months: Maximum of 2 Labour can be utilised.



5.Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

  1. We offer a 14-day cooling off period, if you decide to cancel the membership within this time you will only be eligible for a full refund if the service has not been used.
  2. If any hours have been used within the 14-days cancellation period, they will be deducted at a rate of £55 per hour.
  3. Membership renovation can be cancelled at any time. 
  4. If the membership has passed the renewal date and the customer wishes to cancel, MCC Multiservices will apply the cancellation and refund policy (Section 1).

 

  1. Liability and Insurance

 

  • All jobs carried out by our workers will be documented with photographs and a work receipt.
  • All our workers are covered by liability insurance.



7.Exclusive Use

 

  • Each membership is personal and non-transferable.
  • Jobs/services will ONLY be carried out at the registered address.





  1. Modifications of the Terms

 

  • MCC Multiservices reserves the right to modify these terms and will notify clients.

 

  1. Procedure for Requesting a Service

 

The client must complete our web form

 

  • Type of service (trade)
  • Date and time when the damage was detected
  • Photographs of the affected areas

 

Response Time:

 

  • Initial Contact : 4 - 18 hours
  • Appointment booking : 2 - 3 Working days
  • Site Visit: 4 - 5  working days
  • Emergency: Same-day service (each hour of service counts as 2 hours).
